Tyler Perry Studios is the first major film studio in the nation to be owned by an African American. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, the studio sits on the historic grounds of the former Fort McPherson army base.
Spanning 330 acres, the studio includes 40 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, 12 purpose-built sound stages, 200 acres of green space, and a diverse backlot.
